Cattle Intramammary Suspension

Each 5 g syringe contains: Penicillin G procaine 100,000 IU, Streptomycin Sulfate 100 mg, Neomycin Sulfate 100 mg, Prednisolone 10 mg, Excipients q.s.ad. 5 g.

Treatment of clinical and subclinical bovine mastitis in milking cows, accompanied by pain and inflammation caused by bacterial infection sensitive to penicillin, streptomycin and neomycin therapy such as in cases of: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus uberis and Escherichia coli.

Pen Tetra Strep® LC is administered intramammary. It should be gently infused into each infected quarter through the teat canal immediately after milking. One syringe per affected quarter every 24 hours for three consecutive days. Milk the affected quarters and discard the milk. After thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the teat and teat orifice, gently infuse the contents of a syringe into the teat canal of each affected quarter. Disperse the product by gently massaging the teat and udder of the affected animal. Take precautions to avoid contamination of the syringe cannula.
