Medicated Shampoo
Each 100 mL contains: Ketoconazole 2 g, Chlorhexidine Gluconate 10 g, Cetrimide 0.10 g, Excipients q.s.ad 100 mL.
Treatment and control of seborrheic dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Malassezia pachydermatis, Malassezia furfur infections and as an adjuvant in the treatment of dermatophyte infections due to Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum, Microsporum persicolor, Candida albicans and Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton equinum, M. equinum, T. mentagrophytes and T. verrucosum. Relief of symptoms associated with bacterial and fungal dermal infections.
Dermal topical route by use in the bath.
Dogs
As a general rule, the animal should be shampooed two to 3 times per week (depending on severity) until symptoms subside and then weekly, or as needed, to keep the condition under control as advised by your veterinarian.
Cats
Bathe at least twice weekly until hair cultures are negative for M. canis. Maximum duration of treatment should not exceed 16 weeks. Depending on the length and type of hair, consideration should be given as to whether shaving is necessary prior to treatment.
Horses
Wet and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo, massage vigorously, rinse with plenty of water. Apply 2 times per week. Establish a protocol according to the patient's condition, upon recommendation of the Veterinarian.
