Xelamec® Combi Cats is a broad-spectrum parasiticide based on selamectin, a modern avermectin specifically developed for cats, and praziquantel, (4H-Pyrazino[2,1-a] (isoquinolein-4-one, 2-ci clohexyl-carbonyl )-1,2,3,6,7, 11b-hexahydro-), a synthetic derivative of soquinoline-pyrazine. The association allows the parallel control and treatment of intestinal worms, heartworms, tapeworms, scabies and ear mites, adult fleas, larvae and their eggs, and is also effective in controlling infestations caused by ticks and lice.
Dosage and directions of use External use, for direct application on the skin. Apply the entire contents of the pipette, directly to the dry skin of the animal, on the neck or cross. It is important to separate the coat to facilitate the application of the product on the skin. Do not discharge the content on the coat. It can be administered immediately after bathing, once the animal is dry. The animal can be bathed after two hours of application. The minimum single dose is 6 mg/kg of selamectin bw and 8 mg/kg of praziquantel, which is adjusted according to the following table: Up to 2.5 Kg bw: 1 pipette of 0.25 mL (containing 15 mg of selamectin and 20 mg of praziquantel). From 2.6 to 5 kg bw: 1 pipette of 0.50 mL (containing 30 mg of selamectin and 40 mg of praziquantel). From 56 to 10 kg bw: 1 pipette of 1 mL (containing 60 mg of selamectin and 80 mg of praziquantel).
