The First National Meeting of Cattle Breeders was held on January 27th, in the city of Lurin, an initiative that aims to create a Federation of Cattle Breeders. The transitional Foundation Committee held the meeting at the premises of FONDGICARV and brought together various organizations and national representatives, cooperatives, communities, small and mid size enterprises engaged in raising cattle: Holstein, Brown Swiss, Simmental, and Cebu, among others.
Agrovet Market hosted the meeting, which addressed issues involving the strengthening and development of cattle raising in order to encourage growth and awareness of food security in the country. We hope to continue participating and accompanying the development of livestock, for both small and large producers dedicated to raising cattle.
